Chiesi Group Facebook Community Guidelines

The Facebook page of Chiesi Farmacêutica S.p.A (Chiesi group) was designed to share information, news and events related to the world of health or the Chiesi group. We are glad that you are in contact with us on Facebook and we hope that we can develop a fruitful and stimulating dialogue together.

The following information contains the Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”), which govern how you interact with our Facebook accounts. These Terms incorporate those of Facebook itself related to the way you use them, which must also comply with Facebook's terms and conditions. When interacting with our Facebook accounts, users are deemed to agree to abide by these Terms. The goal of the Facebook page of the Chiesi group is to create the possibility to share the latest news and updates about the company.

Our Facebook account is not a forum to discuss treatments or conditions or health channels to notify us about adverse events or side effects. Our Facebook account is not intended to provide medical advice or discuss medicines or Chiesi products of any kind, and it is not authorized to provide notifications regarding side effects or other significant pharmacovigilance events that may be associated with Chiesi or products from other companies in the group Chiesi. Messages or photos from our Facebook accounts may contain information or details about the activities of the Chiesi group, which are not available or accessible in all countries, depending on specific legislation, but only refer to Italy.

If you believe that you have experienced any medical side effects or reactions to a Chiesi drug, you should consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional immediately. You can also notify us of an adverse event or side effect related to any of our products by sending us an email to farmacovigilancia.br@chiesi.com or by calling 0800 110 4525. However, as a rule of thumb, we suggest that you share as little personal information as possible on our Facebook page, especially sharing any specific data about your personal health should be avoided. If you, however, decide to include any post detailing any side effects, Chiesi may need to contact you for more information. Posts of this nature may not appear or may need to be removed from the Facebook page of the Chiesi group; this is due to legal obligations regarding drug safety notification.

We invite you to participate in the online conversations, sharing your opinions with us and the rest of the Facebook community, maintaining a respectful and polite approach.

We appreciate your requests and try to answer questions as quickly as possible. Due to Facebook's limitations and the highly regulated nature of the pharmaceutical industry, we are not allowed to deal with certain topics online.

We would like to ensure that any dialogue initiated on our Facebook page is constructive and remains on topic. Comments will not be answered and can be deleted from the company's pages if they:

• Are defamatory, disparaging, offensive, vulgar, obscene or discriminatory;
• Contain threats or violence or relate to illegal behavior;
• Contain information that is false, inaccurate, misleading or not relevant to the purposes of the conversations;
• Eschew the subject or have no relationship with the Chiesi group;
• contain medical or health advice;
• contain personal information such as the name and surname of third parties, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers;
• contain sensitive and confidential information;
• Contain information which may infringe on the intellectual property or copyrights of others;
• Relate to commercial offers or are designed to attract new fans / followers;
• Contain excessively repetitive information, which can constitute spam for communities;
• Do not respect Facebook's Terms of Service.

Our Facebook account is regularly monitored and updated from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Brasília time. Comments and questions posted outside these hours will be answered as soon as possible during the work.

Although the Chiesi group uses several languages, all communications made through LInkedIn and Facebook channels will be in Portuguese or English. In the event that a language other than Portuguese or English is used on our Facebook account, the Chiesi group cannot guarantee that an answer will be provided.

This version of Tem has been updated in March 2021. The Terms may be revised from time to time. Interaction with our Facebook account will be deemed to be an implied acceptance of the Terms and any changes subsequently made.

We would like to remind you that any content shared through our Facebook accounts can be accessed by the public. The Chiesi Group may process, archive and use any information that users decide to share through these channels for purposes such as managing notifications related to adverse events (as specified above) or providing assistance when requested. To facilitate the management of requests, we may ask for more information that will be used exclusively for the purposes for which they were requested.

We would like to inform you that the Chiesi group uses third parties to help manage your comments and messages, which means that they can also have access to any personal information you share with us. These third parties are contractually obligated to ensure that the information shared by users on our Facebook channel is adequately and securely protected.
